Are your swimming pool poles made from fiberglass?

We stopped using fiberglass poles, our poles are now made of 6063-T6 aircraft grade aluminum. Pool poles made from fiberglass are poorly suited for pool fences, which operate on tension. When the fence sways due to the fiberglass’ flexibility, cracks and splinters begin to form, which can eventually tear the pole apart. Fiberglass pool poles are also more difficult to install than other types of pool poles, and they are not as strong or durable as other materials like 6063-T6 aircraft grade aluminum.

Can small children climb over the pool fence?

The safety fence around your pool is there to protect you and keep little ones safe. However, Life Saver’s mesh pool fence design makes climbing impossible – even for pets!

Do you have to drill holes in the pool deck?

Yes, the fence needs to anchor into the ground at each pole in order to serve as a quality barrier.

Are you going to hit my buried lines?

It is very rare for us to hit buried lines. We try to be mindful of the location of drain lines and surface level water features around the pool when laying out the fence before installation. In the event that we do damage any buried utilities, we will take care of the repairs.

What if I want the pool fence to connect to the house or privacy fence, and use them as part of my pool barrier?

We can tie into existing barriers by attaching an eye for the safety latch on the side of your fence or house. However, if you are using your house or boundary fence as part of your barrier, be conscious of potential openings such as windows or gates. We will help craft a safe, practical, cost-effective plan for you when we speak.

How does estimating/billing work?

We provide free, no risk written estimates for the project once we have a preliminary length for the fence. We can often provide a virtual estimate or an in person estimate to make the process as easy on you as possible.

You can change the layout all the way up until we install. We will adjust the invoice to reflect the final layout at installation. Payment is due upon completion. We can accept cash, check, and credit cards. We also offer third party financing through Wisetack.

How can you estimate without coming out to the house, and install on the first visit?

We use satellite imaging technology to get accurate measurements of your yard and pool (when there is no obstruction). We bring out extra material as well as the tools needed to install into a wide variety of surfaces. We take every measure to make sure your measurements are accurate.

How long does it take to install?

Almost all installations are done in one day. Shorter fences can be installed in as little as two hours. We service customers as promptly as possible too!
